Composing For Ensembles Recitals - Day 2

Join us to support new music and celebrate the achievements of our first-year composers!
On 12 and 13 November 2025, the first-year composers will present a two-day showcase of their original compositions. Featuring a wide range of styles and approaches, audiences will have the opportunity to experience new music created by an eclectic and dynamic group of emerging young composers. Audiences are welcome to come and go as needed. Please see below for specific recital times:
10.30am: Clément-Emmanuel Saffreé, "Violin Sonata III. Funeral March". For violin and piano.
11am: Wren Colina-Alcazar, "Sunshine and Rain". For jazz ensemble.
11.30am: Evie Osborne, "The Answer". For SATB voices and 2 double basses.
12pm: Santrix Redston, "Clockwork Patterns". For mallet percussion, voices, double basses, and piano.
12.30pm: Odette Earl, "Walking By". For electric guitar, drums, alto saxophone, and electric bass.
1pm: Zac Darby, "Building Blox". For alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, piano, and bass.
1.30pm: Liam Burke, "Prescence". For tenor saxophone, piano, double bass, and drums.
2pm: Phoebe Mu, "Spellbound". For two pianos.
3pm: Alexander Monro, "Blur & Bloom". For string trio.
3.30pm: Mion Kirk, "A Room in the Rain". For two pianos.
